MEET THE TEAM

“I strive to be authentic in everything I do, especially at Soul Sweat. When we show up fully as our truest self, we give others permission to do the same. And who we each are, individually, make up the most beautiful community, collectively.”

Courtney Del Vecchio, Founder and Owner

In 2017, Courtney courageously established Soul Sweat's flagship studio in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Even at the young age of 23, she was fully aware of the challenges that lay ahead. However, her enthusiasm to introduce a new approach to yoga in Connecticut was unbounded. By incorporating infrared heat, breathwork, physical postures, and deep exploration of self-love and acceptance, Soul Sweat has now grown into a thriving community of yoga practitioners of all levels who are committed to internal and external growth, both on and off the mat.

Six years, two yoga studios, and countless lessons later, Courtney continues to evolve alongside Soul Sweat. But one thing that hasn’t changed is the foundation on which Soul Sweat was built - an inclusive and secure space of empathy, acceptance, exploration, healing, and support. This allows us to become the best versions of ourselves, not only for ourselves but also for those around us. I aspire to make my studios vibrant, engaging, and relatable to everyone so that all are welcomed into this extraordinary yoga home.

When she’s not at the studios, Courtney loves spending time with her family and friends, snowboarding, boating, going to the beach, and doing anything outdoors. You’ll often see her fiancé, Spark, around the studio with their two golden retrievers, Lou and Ollie - they love to visit!
